HHR009 & HHR010 - On Sale Now

Hey everyone,

Our two newest releases are now on sale in the webstore! HHR009 is The Midwest Beat - S/T Mono Recordings (previously unreleased) and HHR010 is The Decay/Wayfarer - Split.

10 releases, how fucking cool is that? We've been at this since June of 2011, and hopefully we'll be doing it for a long time to come. Mike and I went and saw Sam Coffey And The Iron Lungs in Guelph a couple weeks ago, and actually being sort of reluctant of pumping more money into the label, half way through their set it was obvious that we had to put out one of their 7"s. We have our next three releases set (Sam Coffey/Shakey Aches split, White Wires - WWII and Sonic Avenues - Television Youth), and if those all sell as well as we hope they do, we'll have the funds to put out a 7" in 2012. Let's make that happen.

So yeah, head over to the store and pick up the news tapes. I'll be at a couple local shows in the next two weeks peddling my wares, including the first show Hosehead is putting on.

Upcoming Releases/T-Shirts

I went ahead and made this flyer to put in orders to keep people interested. We're running low on stickers, so I figured I might as well make something to give to people. HHR009 through 011 should take us to the end of 2011, and we'll kick 2012 in the nuts with the Coffey/Aches split and the second Sonic Avenues record (which fucking rules, by the way!).

Our good friend Josh is also screening some t-shirts for us. We're getting both of these designs in real limited quantities:

Inventory Update

Hey everyone, I noticed a couple discrepancies with out webstore inventory so I went in and fixed it to the right numbers. This means that some things are closer to being out of print then I had thought. Take a look:

Banner Pilot - Pass The Poison EP

We recently received the last piece to assemble the new Banner Pilot cassette in the mail.  If nothing goes wrong (and something usually does) we'll have them all dubbed and stuffed tomorrow night. I'm still undecided about whether or not to add them into our webstore sooner or later, since a whole bunch of Banner Pilot fans will be at The Fest 10 in Florida this weekend. Then again, I'm not going.

In fact, in a spur of the moment decision, I'm going to add the tapes to the store silently and send out an email to our mailing list subscribers once I do. This will be a little reward for people keen enough to sign up (hint, do so on the right side of this page!).

New Sonic Avenues Record

Today Dirtnap Records officially announced that they've signed our good friends from Montreal, Sonic Avenues (side note, we have exactly 10 copies left of our Sonic Avenues tape in the store!). We're really stoked for both Dirtnap and Sonic Aves, since we're big supporters of both of them. We're more than pleased to announce that Dirtnap is letting us release another Sonic Avenues tape. The new record is called Television Youth, and come 1/15/12, we'll be adding 100 tapes into our store.
